Privacy Policy

What information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

At cptnetworks.com we consider the privacy of our visitors, customers and field service partners to be extremely important. This Privacy Policy describes the types of personal information collected and recorded by CPT Network Solutions, Inc. (“CPT,” “we,” “us”) and how we use it.

Information We Collect and Why

CPT has a legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. The basis depends on the information we collect and the context in which we collect it:

  • CPT needs to perform a contract with you
  • You have given CPT permission to do so
  • Processing your personal information is in CPT’s legitimate interests
  • CPT needs to comply with the law

CPT retains your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, and to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our policies.

If you wish to know what personal information we hold about you, or want it updated or removed from our systems, please contact us. In certain circumstances you have the right to access, update or delete the information we hold on you, and the rights of rectification, objection, restriction, data portability and withdrawal of consent.

Text Messaging (SMS) Program

CPT sends text messages to field service partners (subcontractor technicians) who have agreed to receive them. These messages are work-related only, such as work order assignments, scheduling and schedule changes, site and access information, and status or completion reminders. We do not use text messaging to send marketing or promotional messages.

  • What we collect: the mobile phone number you provide, your name, your consent to receive text messages, and the date of that consent.
  • How we use it: only to send work-related messages to you and to keep a record of your consent.
  • Sharing: no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We may share information with the service providers that deliver our messages (for example, our telephone and messaging carriers) solely to deliver those messages, and where required by law.
  • Opting out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@cptnetworks.com or 630.735.7000. Message frequency varies with work activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Log Files

Like many other websites, cptnetworks.com makes use of log files. These files log visitors to the site and are a standard part of hosting services’ analytics. The information in the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages and possibly the number of clicks. This information is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movement around the site and gather demographic information. IP addresses and other such information are not linked to any personally identifiable information.

Cookies and Web Beacons

cptnetworks.com uses cookies to store information about visitors’ preferences, to record which pages a visitor accesses, and to personalize or customize our web page content based on browser type or other information the visitor’s browser sends. If you wish to disable cookies, you may do so through your individual browser options. More detailed information about cookie management can be found on the browsers’ respective websites.

Online Privacy Policy Only

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website regarding information shared and/or collected there. We use it to respond to you and to provide the information or services you requested. We do not sell this information, and we do not disclose the content of submissions except to service providers who help us operate the website or where requested by legal authorities.

California Online Privacy Protection Act

CalOPPA requires commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. Fair Information Practices

The Fair Information Practice Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States. In line with them, should a data breach occur, we will notify affected users within 7 business days. We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle, which gives individuals the right to pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law.
